Finance & GL
The ledger is in the product, not a sync job. Inventory movements, production, invoices, bills, and payments post balanced double-entry journals as they happen.
Double-entry, enforced
Every posting is a balanced journal. The database rejects an unbalanced entry — you cannot "just put it in COGS" and leave the other side blank. That is why month-end is a review, not an excavation.
Chart of accounts
A structured chart covers assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. Inventory, COGS, WIP, AR, AP, and cash accounts are the ones inventory, production, and orders already post to.
AR, AP, invoices, and bills
Generate invoices from orders, record full or partial payments, and read AR aging. Vendor bills, bill payments, and AP aging sit on the other side.
Financial statements
Trial balance, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow are generated live from the ledger. Filter by date range and accounting period. These are not exports from a second system.
Periods and year-end close
Accounting periods lock so history cannot be quietly rewritten. Year-end close rolls net income to equity. Open a period only when you mean to adjust it.
Banking and reconciliation
Import bank transactions and match them to books. Auto-match handles the obvious ones; you confirm the rest.
Not a QuickBooks sync
There is no connector to keep two books of record aligned. FerroSync is the book of record. CSV and PDF get data out; they are not how the GL stays true.
